the M17 & M18 sidearms for the US military, CMMG® created the
Mk17™ platform as another way to feed the 9mm Radial Delayed
Blowback™ RESOLUTE® with the same magazines shooters use in
their favorite handgun.
Radial Delayed Blowback™
Originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has
adapted our Radial Delayed Blowback system across our pistol
caliber lineup to create pistols and rifles with a softer recoil
impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight
